Size, Fit, and Care

What sizes range does Marie Birdie offer?

At Marie Birdie, we are solely a Tween and Teen Girl’s golf line and the sizing of our garments include 1 (XXS), 2 (XS), 3 (S), 4 (M), 5 (L), 6 (XL). That said, ALL bodies are beautiful and different, and ALL girls grow at different rates. The best way to figure out your exact size is to check out our handy sizing chart.

What’s my size?

Wow…nothing says change like your growth pattern during your Tween and Teen years.  We get it, and you’re not alone! If you’re falling in between sizes or measurements keep in mind most everything has some stretch to it. Plus, all our skorts have an elastic waistband in the back - a very intentional detail - with the hopes you can wear for a couple of years or more. How is the fit of Marie Birdie apparel and hats?

We have listed the fit of each garment in the item description. For Marie Birdie hats, our snap back and visors have adjustable backs. Our bucket caps and Lifeguard hats are O/S and sized for a small women’s head so they fit our Tweens (9Y – 12Y) and most Teens (13Y – 17Y).

How should I wash and care for my Marie Birdie pieces?

To keep your gear looking gorgeous, we recommend washing on cold setting and lay flat to dry or use a low heat setting in the dryer. This will keep the stretchy fibers and shape of the garment intact.

Orders and Shipping

When will my order ship?

We are committed to getting your order shipped out quickly! We typically ask for 1-2 business days to pack & ship your order. However, during promotional holiday weeks, it can take up to 5 business days.

How much is shipping?

For orders under $129, we charge $8 for standard shipping and $12 for two day shipping. For orders over $129, standard shipping is free and two day shipping is $12.

Is international shipping available?

Yes! However, we cannot accept international returns or exchanges at this time. All international orders will be automatically calculated at checkout based on the size of the order and shipping location.

What are your holiday shipping deadlines?

2024 holiday shipping schedules will be updated by 11/1/24.  Check back for more details.

What is my order status?

There are two ways to lookup the status of your order:
1. Search your email inbox. We send tracking info for every order we ship.
2. Login to your account and click into your order to view tracking details.
If you haven't received tracking info yet, please note that it takes 1-2 business days for our team to pack & ship your order. If you need further assistance, please email us at orders@mariebirdie.com

Can I cancel or change an order?

Oopsies happen…we get it. Please send us an email at orders@mariebirdie.com and we will let you know if changes can be made. If we are unable to cancel your order, we’ll help you get things sorted out with an exchange or a return.

Returns and Exchanges

What is the return policy?

Free domestic returns for items of $30 or more within 30 days of purchase. Returns must be unworn, undamaged, and in original packaging.

How do I return an item?

To start a return or exchange, find your order number, which can be found in your confirmation email, and visit our returns portal at https://mariebirdie.returnly.com/

What is the return process?

1. Locate your original order number & head over to our returns & exchanges portal.https://mariebirdie.returnly.com/ 2. If your merchandise is eligible for a return, we will email you a pre-paid shipping label.
3. Print your return label and mail back the original merchandise. 
4. Once received, we’ll refund the full balance back to your original payment method.

Do you accept exchanges?

Yes! If you have an exchange, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

How do I return or exchange a gift?

Unfortunately, we do not allow returns on gifts, but we can gladly help you to exchange gifted items purchased online for store credit. The item must be unworn, unwashed, and unused with the original tags attached and within 60 days of the original purchase date. Please reach out to customer service with the Order Number of the original purchaser if you’d like to initiate an exchange. For other questions please email orders@mariebirdie.com
